Full Workshop Description:

This workshop is for those who would like to get to know their fellow practitioners and spend a longer afternoon in our beautiful studio. It is designed especially for locals, but all are welcome.

This is an inclusive, open-minded studio, rooted in nearly thirty years of community-based service through yoga and more. That’s part of why many are drawn to Santa Fe Community Yoga: the community! We want to know the people practicing in Santa Fe that also value this kind of organization.

Most of us, when given the opportunity, also have much to say about what our yoga practice means to us, and has been teaching us lately. Sharing this, and hearing fellow practitioners’ stories, can be profoundly inspiring, yet all too often we are cramming those conversations into the pre- and post-class scramble. This workshop is an opportunity to slow down, look around, reflect, and connect with Santa Fe’s Yoga Community.

About the facilitator: Lara Katilin Harsh has been living in Santa Fe since 2000, teaching yoga since 2009, and teaching at SFCY since 2012. She served for over a decade as SFCY’s nonprofit director, but recently stepped down to put more focus into her teaching, bodywork, and artistic pursuits. For more information, please see the teacher bio page.
