Yin Yoga & Myofascial Release | Lynne Olsen

 

This class combines the two therapeutic modalities of Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release. Yin yoga, often called the “quiet practice,” incorporates a series of grounded, passive, and longer held postures that train your nervous system to relax while gently tugging on the connective tissues of the body. Myofascial release also targets the connective tissue, and is especially effective at facilitating healthy glide between tissues and improving range of motion.


About the instructor:

Lynne is a 500 hour Yoga Medicine therapeutic specialist, trainer, & corrective exercise specialist with over 30 years in the field of movement and vitality. Her forte is using therapeutic exercise to help clients resolve painful conditions. Lynne recognizes that our occupation, anatomical variations, past experiences, hobbies, and even our beliefs, can profoundly affect how we move and feel. As a result, Lynne is attentive and provides variations so that each student feels capable, safe, and connected to their experience in the present moment.
